Experience the thrill of a fall bear hunt in our own private bear management
area. We prebait several weeks in advance of each hunt and, of course, put
each hunter on active baits.
Our fall 2006 bear hunters had a productive season with our largest being
a 300lb sow taken by Ashleigh Grosshuesch of Wisconsin.
By accepting a very limited number of hunters, we can ensure that each hunter
has a better then average chance of taking a quality animal while still
maintaining a healthy bear population. Also with the elimination of the
spring bear hunt in Ontario, we have had a tremendous explosion in our bear
population. Hunter success rates have never seen better percentages. In
2007, we plan on hunting a section of our bear management area that hasn’t
been hunted in over 5 years. The area promises to be a good producer. We
urge you to book your reservation several months in advance to reserve your
preferred time slot. The season runs from August 15 to October 31.
Our Bear Hunt Package pricing includes:
- Full housekeeping cabin
- 2 active baits per hunter
- Freezer space
- Boat and motor per 2-3 hunters for morning fishing before evening
hunt
2007 Cost: $1,395 U.S. Funds plus Ontario Bear License and tax

Hundreds of miles of trails crisscross the area so you can walk
or use an ATV to bag limit after limit. With the high number of grouse seen and
flushed, many of our hunters enjoy training young dogs and young hunters as well
in the area. In addition to our ruffed and spruce grouse, we also have a large
population of sharptail grouse.
For the outdoors person who also enjoys to fish, combine your fall grouse hunt
with some fall fishing. We're sure you'll be back year after year for more fall
outdoor action.

Pasha Lake Cabins, which lies in area 19, has long been known for its outstanding
moose hunting. Seemingly endless clear cuts and logging roads provide the
perfect area to hunt moose. We sit down and go over maps with each new group
to help ensure their success.
Archery Hunting - We offer guided or non-guided fall archery
hunts. Tags are extremely limited, please call for tag availability and
pricing. Our bow hunters arrowed one boon and
crocket bull fall of 2002. Steve Shore of Windsor, Ontario took this
beautiful animal at eight feet.
Rifle Hunting - The rifle hunters shot four bulls, one
cow, and one calf during the first two weeks of the gun season.
For those hunters unfamiliar with the area, extensive logging with large clear-cuts
complement the water and swamps to provide excellent moose habitat and hunting
opportunities.
