Introduction:
Pasha Lake Cabins is strategically located in the middle of the best fishing region in Ontario and maybe all of Canada. Pasha Lake itself is part of a chain of thirty or more lakes stretching for many miles across the Northernwestern Ontario Wilderness. There are unlimited fishing opportunities for Trophy Walleye, Monster Northern Pike, Giant Lake Trout, Beautiful Brook Trout (Speckled Trout), Jumbo Perch, Whitefish and the rare Splake. These lakes are accessible via boat, driving or portaging. There is even water access to Lake Nipigon where massive Walleyes, Northern Pike, Brook Trout and Lake Trout can be taken.

Walleye Fishing:

Walleye fishing in the best in Ontario when considering the numbers and the sized being caught. You have 29 inland lakes all within a show drive with outstanding Walleye fishing. You also fish Lake Nipigon or go on the Walleye Dream Trip, which is a day long extravaganza on the Jackfish river where you will catch more Walleyes in one day than in a month at most other lodges. Walleyes in the area are common in the 2 to 5 pound range with many trophies over 32 inches being caught and released.

Northern Pike Fishing:

The Trophy Pike Lakes surrounding Pasha Lake Cabins are absolutely stuffed with Northern Pike of every size. In some of the lakes you will experience non-stop action all day and easily catch between 60 and 100 Northerns depending on how hard you fish. The most common sizes of Pike in our inland lakes range from 24 to 35 inches and you will catch tons of them. Larger Trophy Northern Pike in the 15 to 25-pound range are less frequent but our guests do catch lots of them. We have 17 premier pike lakes within 45 minutes of camp along with monster Northern Pike fishing on Lake Nipigon.

Brook Trout Fishing:

Brook Trout can be caught in many of the local lakes and streams but the best lakes are in the chart below. Brook Trout come in many different sizes. They are most common in the 10 to 16-inch range but bigger Brookies in the 3 to 6-pound range get taken throughout the year. There have been Brook Trout caught up to 8 pounds but they are rare at that size on the smaller inland lakes. Our guests, while fishing on Lake Nipigon, usually take the gigantic Trophy Brook Trout.

Lake Trout Fishing:

Lake Trout are common in the 2 to 10-pound range and on the inland lakes guests have caught Lake Trout over 25 pounds. Lake Trout are also available in good numbers. Guests have reported catching 30 keepers in a day. Even though you will catch lots of small ones, bigger trout usually take about an hour of fishing to get. If you want to catch a Lake Trout in the 25 to 40-pound range, you will have the best chance on Lake Nipigon but you will not see the numbers that you will see on the smaller lakes.

Black Bear Hunting:

Experience the thrill of a fall Black Bear hunt in our own private Black Bear management area. We prebait several weeks in advance of each hunt and, of course, put each hunter on active baits. Our fall 2011 Black Bear hunters has been very productive so far with our largest harvested Black Bear being a 410 pound giant. By accepting a very limited number of hunters, we can ensure that each hunter has a better than average chance of taking a quality animal while still maintaining a healthy Black Bear population.

Moose Hunting:

Pasha Lake Cabins, which lies in WMU 19, has long been known for its outstanding Moose hunting. Seemingly endless clear cuts and logging roads provide the perfect area to hunt Moose. We sit down and go over maps with each new group to help ensure their success. We offer guided or non-guided fall non-resident archery hunts. Adult tags are extremely limited. Grouse Hunting:

Hundreds of miles of trails crisscross the area so you can walk or use an ATV to bag limit after limit. With the high number of grouse seen and flushed, many of our hunters enjoy training young dogs and young hunters as well in the area. In addition to our ruffed and spruce grouse, we also have a large population of sharptail grouse.

Lodge & Cabins:

Cabins: Our newer cabins are clean and comfortable and tastefully finished in knotty pine while older cabins have nice wood paneling. We have twelve cabins fully equipped for housekeeping. Cabins can accommodate between four and eight people comfortably with lots of room to spare. Each cabin has a full washroom with shower and fully equipped kitchen. A campgrounds is also available for RV parking and Tent Camping. We also have outpost tent camps for deep wilderness adventures.

Main Lodge & Facilities: We have a main lodge, which also serves as a meeting and conference center for corporate retreat groups but can be enjoyed by all of our guests. There is a satellite TV, comfortable chairs and couches, tables for playing cards and other games as well as a beautiful view of the lake. To make your stay even more enjoyable, we have a sauna, hot tub, lakeside gazebo and a clean and shallow swimming beach, which is safe for kids and can be enjoyed by everyone.
