Walleye Dream Trip (WDT) - Lake Nipigon

World Class Walleye Dream Trip (Jackfish River, Lake Nipigon): I was able to take the Walleye Dream trip with my father-in-law and his friends and it was better than advertised. We simply couldn’t believe the number and quality of the fish they caught (over 100 fish/person). Charlie (who has been taking 3-4 trips to Canada/year since 1974) said it was the best trip he has ever experienced and couldn’t imagine finding better walleye fishing anywhere. The fish ranged between 15 – 25.5 inches with 19-20 inches being the norm. Thanks again for an amazing experience!! Bryan Kofal – Hudson, WI…

Ontario Lodge with Lots of Walleyes

Lots of Walleyes Tony Brough 7-Sept-2005 With one more day of fishing, we already caught a ton of walleyes, had wonderful shore lunches, enjoyed the sauna prior to going to bed, watched a hunter bring in a 300 pound bear (or is it spelled beer). The only down side was my wife (1st time to Canada) had won $3 off of me by getting the 1st fish, the 1st walleye, and the largest walleye (a 5 pounder that I reluctantly netted for her). We were going to fish for some Northerns when Darrel talked us into the Jet boat trip…

Ontario’s Best Walleye Lakes

Pasha Lake Satellite Phots: Pasha Lake is a smaller lake so a map is not necessary. Even though it has good Northern Pike and Lake Trout fishing, we urge our guests to explore all the lakes in this chain of lakes, which you can see better on the big version of the photo by clicking here. There are close to fifty lakes that are boat-to or drive-to, which are within 5 and 45 minute’s drive from base camp. These lakes are stuffed with Walleye, Northern Pike, Brook Trout, Lake Trout, Splake, Whitefish and Perch because they are very rarely fished…

Ontario Trophy Walleye Fishing

Trophy Walleyes Randy Richert 4-July-2004 This was our third trip to Pasha, and we still had not landed a trophy walleye. We woke to a cloudy July 1st, got bait from Darrel and drove to our favorite walleye lake for a day of fun. We motored out to a small point less than 1/4 mile from the landing, killed the motor and tied jigs to the end of our lines. I helped my sixteen year old son Tim and my wife Deanne get their rigs ready, then turned my attention to my own fishing. I hooked a lively minnow on…

Where can I slaughter the Walleyes

Self Reliance Fishing I just had a detailed conversation with one of the most recognized, and, some would argue, one of the most experienced anglers walking the earth today. He has been there, done that and is the who’s who of the angling world. This gentleman has fished all over the globe and placed top 5 in The Tournament of Legends hosted by Bass Pro Shops (a competition a few years back among 30 of the most accomplished anglers from around the world). In short, this person’s skills are top shelf. Of great importance is not his name or accomplishments…
